Hi, I’m Cassidy, the heart behind Petals & Silks.
Ever since I was little, I’ve been drawn to creating moments that tell a story. I can trace it back to watching The Wedding Planner (anyone else obsessed with that movie?), and in that moment, I knew I wanted to help people celebrate their love in meaningful, unforgettable ways. Today, that passion lives through every bouquet, and every event I touch.
Florals have always been a part of my life, from growing my own garden to designing the bouquets and arrangements I love today. Flowers have a special meaning to me; they carried me through some of the toughest times in my life, including surviving domestic violence. Their beauty, resilience, and quiet strength gave me hope when I needed it most.
Through Petals & Silks, my dream is to help others bloom. To inspire hope, independence, and joy. Every arrangement I create has a purpose: to bring beauty, light, and a little magic into the world.
I’m also passionate about giving back. With every wedding or event I’m honored to be a part of, a portion of your support goes to She Has A Name, a local Columbus organization that helps women who have been trafficked regain their independence and build a life of safety, stability, and opportunity. Knowing that your celebration can help empower others is a gift that means so much to me.
But for me, this work is about much more than logistics. It’s about connection. I take the time to truly get to know my clients, to listen to their stories, and to make space for them to dream big. From the first conversation to the last dance, I’m here to make sure every detail reflects their story and their love in a way that’s authentic and memorable.
I love love; the real laughs, the big emotions, and clients who challenge me to think creatively and meaningfully. I value honesty, inclusivity, and equality, and I believe in supporting not just my couples, but also the incredible vendors I get to collaborate with. Every wedding teaches me something new, helping me grow both personally and professionally.
